Airsoft - experience in setting up portable ranges?

Post by Telecomtodd »

Among my shooting activities, I do a lot with the Boy Scouts. The BSA has a new airsoft program and we're moving forward with it. However, we have a need for a knock-down portable set of ranges for 3-gun type shooting. I'm looking for anyone with specific experience in airsoft AEGs, etc. that has used a specific fabric for ballistic curtains. I've done a lot of searching but not coming up with a lot of info.

We will be using .2 gram plastic BBs and shooting pistol, rifle, and "shotgun". I want to make sure we have something light enough to move around but strong enough to stop a fired round.

Our goal is to get the youth more interested in shooting, then when they want to improve their accuracy, they will want to hopefully participate in the NRA/Winchester qualification program. We'll be kicking that program after summer camp.

Experienced suggestions welcome.

I would suggest you contact Rob Potter.

He posts here occasionally. He works with BSA and offers airsoft 3-gun in his community.
