Hi Guys
I would be interested to know people's views on shooting frames over a lense mounted on the rear sight. Obviously it would be a lot cheaper and it would be directly in front of the rear sight. I'm not sure if they are legal for ISSF events but that isn't an issue for me anyway.

No, lens mounted onto the rearsight or rifle are not permitted under ISSF rules. Some national associations, like the NSRA, allow the lens to be fitted to the rifle for domestic matches.

For what we/you are doing either is legal unless we can drag you back outdoors which I realise is difficult for you. For our shooting Indoors I personally find the attached lens is great mainly because it is always centred on the sight and you do not need to set up Glasses. And it is legal for our Indoor season.
