Yes, it will drop right in, but you need the proper action screws.
Re: 1807 to 1813 stock upgrade
The only caveat is if the 1813 has been epoxy bedded, and the epoxy extends under the first inch/few inches of the barrel. Where it joins the action an 1807 barrel is slightly wider than an 1813 , so it won't fit into the barrel bedding unless you sand down the epoxy immediately in fron of the action.
Bedding under the action is the same.

Tim I thought in XX07 the 660mm barrel was a smaller diameter (22mm?) than the XX13 with the 690mm (24mm?). Unless the step down collar ends up being a little larger than the larger barrel, I would have expected the smaller barrel to fit even in epoxy bedding.Tim S wrote:The only caveat is if the 1813 has been epoxy bedded, and the epoxy extends under the first inch/few inches of the barrel. Yes, it's the breeching nut that gets in the way. Ahead of the nut an 1807 barrel is narrower than an 1813, but at the face of the action the nut is wider. The difference doesn't matter if there is no bedding, or if the bedding is only under the action, but if the barrel is bedded an 1807 barrel will not drop in. It does only take a little sanding, about 10 minutes from memory.

Just to finish up the post. It took me about 10 min with a dremmel tool to sand away about a half inch of the epoxy where the barrel bevels to the action. SIMPLE! Dropped right in! Thanks Everyone for the info! My son just shot 3p 560 with it. Must have done something right...LOL
