1911 Ramped Barrels

There are two styles of ramped 1911 barrels. The Clark/Para and the Wilson/ Nowlin.
Can a barrel thats one style fit into a frame cut for the other style?

NOPE. ONE HAS A ROUNDED BOTTOM THE OTHER IS SQUARED. JP
