There is no design fault on the Feinwerkbau C5 five shot semi-automatic CO2 match air pistol.

The ambiant temperature is that matters in CO2 sem-auto powered pistols and on the C5 it is easy to learn how to deal with it.

INSTRUCTIONS

There are two (2) adjustment screws that affect the semi-auto cycling of the C5.

One screw is located at the top of the grip and regulates the spring tension of the striker. Turn it to the R for more power or to the L for less power for each shot. The best for me is the turn the screw all the way to the R and then back it up ONE WHOLE TURN.

The second screw is located on the right side of the C5, near the magazine transport rail. In cold weather (or out of doors) turn it to the R (very slightly and test fire to see if the semi auto functions), and in hot weather (or indoors) turn it to the L and test that the semi auto works.

Please NOTE: Switching pellet weight may affect the semi auto cycle. Stay within a 0.5 grain to 1.0 grain of difference between pellets. By rule of thumb a heavier pellet needs more CO2 to be released by the striker, for each complete shot cycle, than a lighter pellet so the "Cold" setting [described above] applies for lighter pellets as CO2 is more efficient in cold weather than in warm. With very light pellets turn the side screw to the R and with heavier ones towards the L. That is what works in my FWB C5 and if yours is different let us know, please.
