Will the Anschutz 54.30 replace regular 54 action?
I'm curious I anyone knows if the 54.30 action will replace all 54 actions in current production or if it will be more of a premium model sold in addition to the regular 54 actions.

Anschutz has not had a very strong marketing message related to this new action.
Now there are 3 (premium) actions. 1913, 2013 and 54.30.
I suppose since the new action is 1913 backward compatible
for a stock fit it should replace the 1913 altogether?
Perhaps keep the 2013 too for those who like the extra weight and ease of barrel change?
I heard a rumour (from staff at a gun store) that the 54.30 was a limited edition
but that does not seem right to me. Who knows?

Yeah I kinda doubt they're gonna take the effort to develop a new improved 54 action then only make it a limited production, would be a very bad business decision.

Plus it would be a big step towards the death of the anschutz. No way would i buy a new anschutz over a new walther if the walther had a rear mounted loading port that i could load without lifting my arm and you had to break your position every shot to shoot an anschutz

I think that it will be a limited addition. Anschutz must compete with Walther and from what I have seen of the new Walther the Anschutz 54.30 doesn't match up. Mike Barron
