Can this rifle have it's speed changed? If so how?

i understand it can to a degree but i had Joe Hein go through my daughters rifle and it was tuned and tweaked to run 175m/s

Thanks. The reason I'm asking is a friend and I were shooting today at silhouettes at 15M and he said my rifle seems much louder than his RWS ( just sent to Joe Kornick (sp) and his is running at 550 fps) and it appeared mine was striking them much harder (chipping the paint from the steel more than when he fired). Guess I'll have to chronograph mine :-(

you can also try a heavier pellet. A domed 10.5 grain pill bucks the wind well. For sound, I drilled out a faucet washer and siliconed it on the end of the barrel. Really reduced the noise.
