Bill Neff advised me that Dave Cramer (RIP) saw a significant improvement in his outdoor prone performance when he bumped the power up to 35x. Bill can advise if I misunderstood his comments. Dave as you know was tough as nails, especially with a scope on his rifle. Nancy T , arguably one of the best prone shooters ever to compete, uses a March set at between 50x-60x!
I'm using a fixed power Leupold at 25x at 100 and a VX 3 6.5-20 at the 50's.....
