3 strings of timed fire
3 strings of rapid fire
Idea is to run a fun match for people that have busy schedules.
Would anyone be interested in a sustained fire match?

Good practice! To speed things up further you could fire 15-20 shots per target.

No. Considering the time it takes to pack all my stuff and drive to and from the range, I want to shoot for more than 10 minutes. Plus, I enjoy slow fire and I think it's an important part of bullseye. The National Match Course makes more sense in my opinion; we run these at my club in about 15 minutes...

Great idea. We did something similar but we included two "2 minute" 25 yard reduced target slow strings. Interesting thing was our slow fire scores improved the most!!Ttgoods wrote:3 strings of timed fire

Was thinking about adding a NMC but then its just about a 900.
Maybe two strings of Slow Fire on a timed and rapid fire target.
The whole idea is to get new people into the game and 5 hours for a full 2700 or even 1.5 hours for a 900 is a bit much for many younger people with families.
And yes I was thinking about scoring after 20 points.

I agree with desben. What the hell do you care about someone who can't be bothered to shoot a 1 1/2 hour match. You can be sure he won't be a long term participant.
