Morini 162E question
Is the Morini 162EI (2-AAA batteries) trigger circuit board a straight drop in or does only the 15v 162E board work in it? If the latter, are the old boards hard to find? Kicking around the idea of buying a used 162E, but don't want to deal with limited parts issues.

Thanks for the info. The one I'm looking at has had the cylinder/regulator mod so it's now removable. I was hoping the trigger boards were interchangeable. :-( I'll call Pilkguns next week and check the availability of the older 15v trigger boards. I'd hate to buy it and later have issues and find out I can't get parts.

Apologies I may have given you incorrect info, according to DavidM:-
"The early models the circuit board uses a 15v camera battery, where the late model uses AAA batteries.(either board will work in any model, but the grips are different in the cutout)"

Put your mind at ease, an old 15v fixed tank Morini can be upgraded to a removable tank and AAA circuit.
Most of the electronic changes I have done have been caused by leaking batteries. A battery leak usually kills the circuit and corrodes the wiring (copper wire goes black with corrosive fumes).
Replace both circuit and trigger switch/solenoid assy.
