Steyer LP1CP value

A friend has a LP1CP, possibly looking to sell. Purchased new around 1999.
Can anyone help with approximate value?

Market may differ from Aus , but I sold my lp1 last year FOR $1000,
probably could have got more but was happy to sell for what I got ,as I think it was a fair price,
They are still one of the best pistols around , but by putting a premium price on it ,then puts you up against older LP10,s & newer Morini,s.
But for what its worth I think $1000 would still be a fair price.
