New in Atlanta , Any AP Shooter nearby

Post by dsaptarshi »

Hello fellow members,

I just came to Atlanta and residing in Sandy Spring Area, It looks like there is no other facility available apart from Ole Mill range to practice 10M Air Pistol. I drop an email to Mr. Connor to check for possible reference , but also want to know if there are any fellow members in nearby area who is into 10M AP event.

Any help , leads is much appreciated.

P.S, I just came , and donot have a car or even a Pistol at this moment , so it may take while for me to settle down, but after that shooting will be my priority for sure ;) so just wanted to know in advance so that I can prepare accordingly :)

Regards

I think there is a Marksmanship Club at Georgia Tech.

My friend shoots air rifle at Georgia Tech, they must have people shooting AP at those indoor range.

In a word, no. I live here and know the environment pretty well. Ole Mill range in Griffin will be closest and only option for organized activities. However, advantage of AP is you can practice anywhere there is a hallway, basement, etc and a small pellet trap. If you want to shoot other pistol (.22 or centerfire), there are many options at River Bend Gun Club just north of you. www.rbgc.org
