Post by shadow »

My Hammerli AR20 came with one front site insert. Will other makes fit as I would like to buy more. The Hammerli sit shows 3 but the website is not clickable and I do not know who sells them.

Any standard M18 front insert, or variable unit, from any manufacturer will fit your rifle. For top quality I would be looking at Centra. Hammerli are part of the Umarex group and they use Centra branded parts on the top end models of the Walther rifles, so theres a good chance they make the units fitted on the lower grades of Walther and the Hammerli's too.

Thanks! Can you post a website where they can be purchased? I've looked and I don't know which ones would work.
Thanks

As I'm in the UK and you are in the US that will be a little difficult. I think that the site owner may be in a position to help, I think they do target shooting related retail in the US. otherwise I have heard good words spoken about Neal Stepp in (Fort Worth?) Texas, look for International Shooters Supply, but apparently better to phone than email with questions. I also hear good things about Champions Choice, I don't know which part of the US they are in. Both of those are often talked about on the Anschutz forum on Rimfire Central as good on target based stuff.

Champions choice has them

Their new website stinks so you'll need to call them and let them know you are interested in the 18mm inserts they have all different sizes. Off that same page you can also see the adjustable ... also you want the 18mm
