.22 Free Pistol Choice & Recommendations

Post by discotwo »

I want to get a .22 free pistol in a medium RH grip and would be grateful for some guidance on models available together with pros & cons. Currently I am waiting for my FAC to enable purchase of a .22 LBP, so if anyone has any for sale I would be interested in finding out more.

I'm assuming you're in the UK and that you are therefore restricted to the long arm pistols. I don't even know which models are made anymore but the Morini is by far the most popular, although I have a pardini.

Yes I am in the UK and covered by the restrictions. How do you find the Pardini? Do you have the FPM or FPE version? Any views on how the Pardini compares to the Morini? Any idea where I could look for a free pistol?

It is very hard to get free of the restrictions for long arms in UK. Hopefully they will free this restriction.

Minimum 300mm barrel and minimum 600mm overall length.

Dimensions exclude any parts that can be removed.
