FWB 700 junior air cylinder question

Post by COBelties »

We were practicing tonight and I went to screw in the air cylinder and it was incredibly difficult to tighten. There were about 3 easy turns like normal and then it hit a wall. I thought maybe it was cross threaded but I can't imagine that with the FWB. Now it's a constant problem, I cleaned all the threads and relubricated. Nothing looks flat or bent. I did notice it hit a wall where I could turn about 1/4 turn but then when backing out it was brutal for about 1-1/2 turns.

Any thoughts?

umm no, but all variables are the same tat I can tell. Pretty confused here and I have to wait a few weeks for a chronograph to see if there is anything negative. I just cant believe how incredibly tough it is. Feels really wrong.
