Does anyone know if I could replace the buttplate vertical adjustment knob on my 1413 with one of the quick-release knobs with the L-shape handle meant for a 2013 stock ?
Like the Champions Choice part number 001152 ? Ans. fast clamp device for alu stocks 4765 buttplate. sorry not sure how to insert a link

Do you mean the thumbwheel screw that clamps the shoulder plate onto the rifle? This is what controls the vertical adjustment. No would be the answer.
If you mean the smaller screw at the top of the butt (later relocated to the bottom) that lock the carrier rods? Then possibly yes, although the 20313 QD lever might foul on the cheekpiece.
If you have a replacement buttplate on your 1413, like the 1980s/90s vintage 4760, or the current 4765, then yes I beleive you can.
