The MIT collegiate team has about fifteen IZH-46M's, and over time, I've needed to get various small parts. In the past, I've gotten them from EAA, using their on-line ordering system.
I placed an order yesterday, and got an acknowledgment as usual. This morning, I got an email stating:
WE NO LONGER HAVE PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS FIREARM. THIS ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED. NOTHING IS BEING DELIVERED OR CHARGE TO YOU. YOU CAN TRY BOB GUN SHOP 501-767-1970.
I checked out Bob's, and they seem to have a lot of stuff, but they don't even list Baikal as one of the manufacturers that they support. I don't know if EAA decided to get out of the parts business and shipped everything to Bob's, or what.
I sent an email to Bob's with a list of the parts I need early this morning, but haven't heard a peep. I have no idea if/when they might get back to me, or what their stock & price situation will be like.
Does anyone know what's up with EAA & Bob's, and are there any other dealers in the US with a good stock of parts?
Thanks!

So, I know this probably is not a solution to your immediate need, but why don't you have the team shooters infiltrate the machine shop and make the parts you need?
I don't mean that in a subversive way - surely there's a machine shop somewhere in 02139, and surely the students on the team can figure out a way to get access to the machine shop, build replacement parts for IZH-35M pistols for their club sport, and (likely) get credit for it. You've already identified that this is a business opportunity, as nobody is selling the parts.
Seriously, if they can put Pac-Man and Blinky on the Great Dome, MIT students can make an IZH-35M firing pin.
I don't mean to trivialize your problem, but everyone in the US is sharing the pain of the lack of 35M parts. However, not everyone in the US has ready access to a cadre of brilliant tech students with a demonstrated proclivity for innovation :D

If you are looking for parts for the IZH-46M (air pistol) you could try Pyramyd Air (http://www.pyramydair.com). They sell the pistols, so they might have parts also....
I went to their web site, and did a search, but it took a couple tries to find the IZH. The last time I asked them about parts for air guns, they never bothered to reply. They don't list many IZH parts, but I'll send them an email.dschaller wrote:If you are looking for parts for the IZH-46M (air pistol) you could try Pyramyd Air (http://www.pyramydair.com).
