Knock off $400
When buying a used PCP airgun, remember to beat the owner down $400. That's about the price to replace the cylinders which are nearly out of date and will have to be replaced (not my idea).
Of course that $400 is on top of the "haggle factor" you would normally go for.
Or you could buy a SSP.

The Pardini P10, Pardini K58, FAS604, and Izzy 46 have all given me joy, serenity, and many, many 10s over the years. The low cost, simplicity, and excellence of SSPs has been discussed before. Nothing has changed. Less can be more.Rover wrote:....Or you could buy a SSP.
As they say in the trial law business:Isn't he the short, balding guy that split with his supermodel wife?

Gwhite has an excellent idea. PCP cylinder owners often have scuba tanks and the shop that fills and certifies them has the equipment to certify air gun cylinders. Of course, some sort of standard would have to be set up and approved by the ISSF, but that should not be a problem if the technical issues of the testing can be resolved.
