Hey everyone,
This was a great Christmas for me this year because I bought me a Feinwerkbau 2602. and I thought I would share a finding of mine along with a couple questions.
This rifle will be used for 3-P shooting but mostly in prone. it is the Aluminum Stocked, 22mm barreled version and came with factory sight set, a 22mm up front, and the FWB sight in rear.
My first finding is that the Anschutz sight is heavier and appears to be built with more metal then plastic as opposed to the FWB sight.
My second finding is that the FWB sight is very course adjustment, I count 12 clicks to a revolution the Anschutz sight I own is a 20 click sight.
My question will sound like this, the Anschutz sight 7020 Fits on the FWB rail, so would i be better off using the 7020 or the FWB? i did some snooping and those that shoot with a FWB on the international line do not appear to use the factory sight.
At this time i will use the 7020 Anschutz sight on my FWB because I am familiar with it and it has a finer adjustment, I think this would be better for the long run.
my second question is the use of off set riser blocks I know I would like a set I am eying these:

Should I get the FWB set, the Anschutz set, or Both? perhaps it would be better to contact 10.9 when they reopen on that question.
Thanks in advance guys,
Cameron

Hi Cameron,
the rear sights are exchangeable, so you can use the Anschütz 7020 on your FWB.
But the front sights are not exchangeable. The dovetails or grooves are all different from company to company and Anschütz even changed this from the older series models 18XX to 19XX.
So if you buy sight risers for your FWB 2602 and you will use the FWB front sight, you need risers for FWB. If you will use a Anschütz front sight on your FWB, you need a adapter or a front riser with wider or universal clamping and it depends on the Anschütz series <= 18XX or >= 19XX.
Regards
Frank
