Some years back, before I took my vacation from competition, I had a program for my Palm device that allowed me to enter shot placement on a target image. The data could then be downloaded for do statistical and plotting on my PC. I am back to shooting, but my palm is long dead. There seems to be at least a few training apps for android, but I'd like to hear opinions about any apps being used before I waste my money on them.

I downloaded 2 that looked interesting from the Google apps store - Shooter's Diary and Shooting Results. Both come from Germany.shadow wrote:Sorry that I cannot help you with your orig question but perhaps you can tell me what apps are out there for Android so I can download one of them.
The shooter's Diary is mostly in German and using it for an English speaker would be aggravating.
The Shooting Results is also German and again, it would be more useful to someone that speaks the language.

Sounds like you used to use Target Plot, a great app if only they still did it and updated it for the apple or android it'd be great.
Anyway there is a similar app called Target tracker (http://www.doublealpha.biz/daa-iphone-a ... pplication) not quite as refined as target plot but its getting there
