HELP with walther LP400 DIN adaptor

Post by JJJJJJ »

Hello,

Just got my new LP400 and ready to put air in it. But the air is coming out of the small hole on my air tank's valve, the hole is there for some purpose not from damage or anything else.

My Steyr Din works perfectly fine but some how I can't put air with my LP400 DIN, anyone has this issue?

Thank you

IIRC the Walter comes with a long and a short adapter. You need the long one to screw into the din valve long enough to block the pinhole. I think you can talk with Scott Pilkington about a washer to fill the space if you only have the short adapter.

If its similar to LP300 than its a 300 bar system.
So it can have both 200 or 300 bar adapter with it, or both.
200 bar adapter is shorter, 300 bar longer.
A 200bar adapter on a 300bar bottle will leak iirc, cause its too short. You can fit a 300 adapter on 200bar bottle. It´ll leak cause of buildin safety probably.
200 bar adapter isnt made for 300 bar pressure.
So I´d exchange adapter of bottle

The LP400 is only 200bar and is delivered with only one adapter = the DIN 200 bar adapter.

At a local match in our shooting club, a visitor shooter had an LP400 and asked to refill his cartridge with our big bottle but when we put his adapter on our bottle we also had air leaks and it wasn't possible to fill his cartridge.

We successfully load cartridges from several other brands (Steyr, Pardini, FWB and our club LP300) on that same big bottle.

We have no explanation for the leakage and why it didn't worked with the LP400 ?
