Well, I'm now awaiting delivery of a DES 32-U.
I imagine I'll be using the gun for informal paper punching, and little else.
I know parts can be a problem, but thankfully I have access to a machine shop.

Re: Unique
Congratulations on your DES/32U. There are still a few deals posted at the various auction sites sometimes for parts but mostly for the complete target pistol. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for adding to the "Unique" thread.Tony M. wrote:Well, I'm now awaiting delivery of a DES 32-U.

Unique
I have a late model DES69U that I just love,it came with a red dot mount, extra firing pins, extractors and a few more parts as well as the original sights,it also came with a nice set of custom grips made by Les Bowler,as well as three other set of grips that were modified for the previous owner. The only thing I am missing is the barrel weight, would love to track one down so I could shoot the irons as well.
Re: Unique
Well, when the pistol came in, it was missing the extractor, and was partially disassembled. It took several months, but I tracked down an extractor, spare firing pins, and various other small spare parts. Once I have a few spare extractors made up using this one as a pattern, I should be able to start shooting the gun!Tony M. wrote:Well, I'm now awaiting delivery of a DES 32-U.
