Does anyone know if there is anything that holds on the upper shroud on an IZH 35 beyond the three screws on its sides?
I have removed grips, removed lower shroud, and removed the three screws that go through the upper shroud and the shroud wont budge, even with a few light taps with soft mallet.
I am aware of Pickles page and as best I can tell there is nothing else.
Any helpe would be greatly appreciated!
Dave
ps
I want to refrain from using the Russian Fine Adjustment Tools (sledge hammer and crow bar).

With your left hand hold the slide al the way to the rear. With your right hand grasp the upper shroud, move it to the rear, then lift up on the front while pivoting the rear down. Slide the shroud forward and off off of the frame. The bolt/slide is removed by pivoting the rear up and out of the frame while minding the recoil spring.
