Trigger pressure transducer/recorder

Post by tleddy »

I am looking for a device that will record trigger pressure through a shot process and record the entire sequence on a laptop.

Anyone know of such??

It appears that the trigger must be replaced with the SCATT unit. That will not work on a 1911.

The transducer must attach somehow to the front of the trigger.

You'd probably have to make one. The only problem is the hardware and software will likely cost more than your gun, and you'd have to know (or learn) how to do it.

To learn good triggering, find a gun with a long roll trigger. Practice pulling it straight through without disturbing the sights. Your grip, and the placement of your finger need to be very consistant. Once you have learned good triggering, you can apply it to any gun.

I'm looking at the development of just such a system. Will keep you posted!
