Hammerli 10x Dry Fire

Post by conradin »

I just bought a Hammerli 100. I won't receive it probably until August, thanks to the silly California law.

I do want to know how do you dry fire this pistol. Anybody has one that can tell me? Anybody has a 102-107 that perhaps can advice me? Or there is none and I have to use a dummy cart all the time?

From the manual:

Dry- practice
In carrying out dry- practice, merely cock the set-trigger by means
of the cocking-lever (1143). The main cocking-lever· (1157), i. e. , the
locking lever, must not be operated, as otherwise there is a risk of
breaking the firing- pin. Dry-practice by using the set-trigger only
may be carried out as often as desired without causing any damage
to the pistol.

There additional info on our host's site under Gunsmithing - TenP files
