NRA Gallery Match Grip Rules

Hi,

I've read through the NRA Rules and have to say I'm confused about the grip standards for our .22 gallery match guns. Some folks are lucky enough to have old Don Nygord grips that sem-wrap-around, like say a Free Pistol grip. But in the above linked rule book I found the image attached. It implies we can't have a downward sweeping wrap around. Is that so, for our .22's?
