Hand pump and LG300

Would it be ok to use hand pump to fill the LG300? Which of the hand pumps do you recommend?

I have a scuba tank, but would like to have a hand pump just in case.

I have a Hill pump with a dry pack and am quite satisfied with it. After pumping, you will have to wait until your heart rate goes down.

I use a hand pump as well, I try and refil my cylinder after I am finished shooting so that its ready to go the next time I shoot, Its a good work out pumping,

Other than Hill pump, is there any other good quality brand? Do we need an adapter to attach to the pump?

Hill seems to be the most favored.
If you would get the SCBA cylinder you could probably fill it once a year. A 80 cubic foot cylinder should last 10,000 rounds or so. Certainly a SCBA cylinder and pellets are really inexpensive compared to decent match rim fire ammo. Hand pumps have moisture, and the cylinders don't. So in the long run SCBA is the way to go.
On the other hand, I hand pumped an Anschutz 202 for five years, and it was not bad. I lucked out and bought a used compressor after I bought a SCBA cylinder, and it is very cool to have unlimited dry air.
