Kneeling Roll Filler
What would you guys recommend as a good kneeling roll filler. I started with the stock stuff from Champions Choice (shredded rubber), but was then told that plastic "pellets" are better by the CMP. Now, at the Olympic Trials, I heard that something like sawdust is the best. Just curious.

How long do you have to leave the bag for that to happen? :)1813benny wrote:They work well, but attract rodents if you keep your gear in the garage.
Good point! would rice still work since it's dry?1813benny wrote: The other issue is if you travel internationally, seeds are often not allowed.
I personally don't like plastic pellets, they don't form around the ankle the way I like which the seeds do. But that's only my opinion and wouldn't apply to most people

Not really at a craft store...
Any plant that makes plastic products will normally use the injection mold process. Beads / resins have to change for color, density, etc... There is a lot of waste, spillage, excess, and you can normally get the floor sweepings for free. I picked up about 26 tons from a factory that was changing product lines and all they wanted was a letter for the IRS to write it off their taxes. Normal cost is about 50 cents per pound.
