FWB sight diameter.

On my FWB C62 from Germany, the front sight iris measures a little over 18mm. Mac Tilton's web site mentions an 18.98 diameter for FWB 600 and up. Is this correct or can I simply use any Anschutz irises?

My C-62 measures the same. I buy stock FWB inserts or private label sets to save a bundle.

I am not familiar with the C62 but...

If the front sight tunnel is about 18mm then any of the plastic inserts for any 18mm front sight will work. (Can't have the little ears common to the metal inserts those are brand specific.)

For my FWB601 I use the 18mm Anschutz collar and the Anschutz inserts that match it. This screws right into my front sight, no problem.

I get my stuff like this from Neal Stepp at International Shooters Supply 817 595 2090.

Champions Choice would also likely be able to help out. I don't have their number handy.
