Fantastic job!!!

Can you tell me some details about the finishing paint?
Is it plain wax or did you coloured the stock first?

It isn't a wax, its made by a company called minwax they make lots of stains wood hardeners sealers and other wood products.
What I used is there semi gloss polyurathane clear coat. I prefer a more natural color over the deep stain anschutz used.

An email i recieved
Hey
Great job !
I'm also doing a custom project, & have a few questions if you don't mind.
I'm planning in putting a different action into an Anschutz stock.
So,
1) what stock model is yours ?
This i am not 100% but i understand it to be a 1900 stock it is newer than the barreled action that i do know.
2) who/ what/ where the adjustable butt hook unit ?
I ordered the Buttplate hook from Masterclass stocks
look here
http://masterclassstocks.com/accessories.html
3) in the 4th pic, what is the white butt pad ?
umm i think what you are seeing it the attaching base i sandend it down wile reshaping the butt to line up with the new plate.
I really like how you re-contorted the forend. It's a very elegant design

Thanks
Mike
thank you this process only took about 4 days there are some things i would like to change like the plugs i made but i am happy with how the stock turned out. i only hope it works out for me next i am still planning to Bed or have bedded.

Now i Have a question of my own does anyone have an oppenion on V-Blocks for Anschutz Rifles? MT Guns Makes them thoughts?
