I left the page open after the medal making video (man, those are some UGLY medals, but I know, it's the symbolism that's important) and was amazed at the succession of news items to follow. Some incredibly biased views of global events on display. Is US TV news completely insane? I haven't watched broadcast TV in over a decade, so this was rather a shock. After half an hour with this nonsense running, having heard a news anchor joking around about how the events in Tehran yesterday would affect Vegas odds on betting for a war with Iran, I had to go to Russia Today's news stream for a dose of sanity. Now THAT is a credible news source, truly global perspectives on offer.
Thanks for the effort at inspiration Russ. I get it. You going to try for one of those medals sometime?
