Hello everyone, I been looking into getting a quality rimfire benchrest gun for some time now and I wanted to know what is recommended for someone who is willing to spend $1500-$2000max on a rifle. From the looks of the Anschutz has a large selection and some of there rifles are listed as benchrest rifles.
What do you think of the 64S Bench Rest model? It's listed for about $1300 or so at some places. What kind of performance can one expect from such a rifle at 50-75m?
The most accurate rifle I ever owned so far was a Kimber rimfire rifle that could get 1/2" 5 shot groups at 70M if I did my part with good ammo, a few times I was even able to hit shellcases at that same distance at an out door range, that gun cost me about $900, so it would be interesting to me to see what sometime costing almost 2x more can do.
