Scoping a Diana 75Ut01

I'd like to consider putting a scope on a Diana 75Ut01 and need advice doing this. I am considering either a beeman SS2L or a 66RL. Has anyone done this and which scope and mount did you use and how did this turned out? Also, did you remove the front sight or can this be left on? Any trouble with it obsuring the sight picture? I am 6 foot tall so I am guessing I would have to use a high mount rather than medium or low mount?
