Has delivery of these occurred anywhere in the world?
The last time I spoke to the local importers here, about 4 months ago, they said that Walther had delayed shipping of SSP-Es due to some issues ( unspecified ). T

It isn't surprising. I remember the time when I ordered my SSP mechanical few years ago. I believe Walther wants to meet their orders in Europe first. But then they discovered that there may have some minor improvements or modifications needed after the pistol has been used by more shooters. I suppose the same may have apply for SSP-E. I have seen it on Walther's website for a few months now.
I have reservations for electronic trigger mechanism for a sport pistol. Unlike free pistol which has a relatively low ammunition consumption. It may need more attention and maintenance. We as a hobby shooter may not have the support of those national teams.
