Hello,
I plan on buying a mec tube for my fwb air rifle soon and was curious as to how it attaches to the front. Does it slide onto the rail on the front or right over it? Also, the case the rifle is inside of is short which means I will have to take off/re-attach the tube after/before each practice session. Will refitting the tube and re-aligning the sights be a problem?
thanks!

Re: Mec Tube Question
Jordan .... you do fire sighters in all your positions right? Any (very, very slight) mis-alignment can be taken care of in those shots.Jordan1s wrote:I will have to take off/re-attach the tube after/before each practice session. Will refitting the tube and re-aligning the sights be a problem?
We travel with sights and tubes removed and it's not even a concern.
manysight tubes attach using a sight tube mount

although after looking at the MEC tubes, my guess would be that it attaches using the existing dovetail on the barrel.
and on every sight tube ive seen, there is a pin on the end of the tube that notches into the barrel mount.......this ensures the tube goes on the same way every time......
just be sure to leave the mount clamped onto the barrel.....always.
any change in the sights should be almost unnoticeable
