Post by TB »

Has anyone expirence with a two stage trigger on the Match Guns MG5/MG5E free pistols? I have read somewhere that you can opt to get them with a two stage trigger but the dealer in Denmark insists that they are only availeble with a one stage trigger?!

The MG5 dosn't have any two stage trigger option. (The FP10 did, though.)

If you would watch the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9faasFZEOiA
you will see that the trigger is set up as two stage.
Not sure if the configuration is still current, the video was released 2009.

MG5 two stage trigger

Post by Fjodor »

Yes, this (old) technical video indeed shows a MG5 (mechanical trigger version) with two trigger springs attached, one for each trigger stage, each spring attached to separate levers, which are clearly visible.
My MG5, made in late 2009, doesn't have any option for more than one trigger spring. There is only one spring lever, and it can only acccept one spring. And there is only one springtension adjustment screw.
