Question on Grips

Post by silentfury214 »

Hey Guys,

I finally got my first precision air rifle (Walther LG300XT Protouch). I really love the rifle, but I have unusually large hands and find the medium grip much too small. I have not been able to find replacement grips and was wondering if there is a legal way to make the grip larger. Or, would other grips fit the rifle?

Thanks!

Well any Walther rifle grip should fit the rifle. If you cant find one you can always build it up with material. Just make sure it isnt "anatomical" (rule 7.4.2.2.

I have not been able to find any large walther grips, and how would you go about making the grip.

I'm sure other (eg pistol) grip makers would make them - but be very careful with regards the rules - 'annatomical' means different things to different people, and anything that looks custom made is going to draw attention.

Walther do make a large grip for the LG, I don't know who your Walther agent is in the States but Walther in Germany are very helpfull but a bit slow.
If you don't get any where in the States try e mailing direct to the factory on sportservice@carl-walther.de
