I am thinking of buying a Sporter Class 10 meter air rifle in the near future, but I am wanting some information before I drop my hard earned bucks down on one.
First, of the rifles on the market today, which has the best build quality?
Second, of the rifles on the market today, which is the most accurate?
You would think that would be one in the same, but experience has taught me differently. I would appreciate your insight into this.
Which One Is The Best?

I personally shoot an Avanti 887 (just has an adult size stock, same action as the 888). I have found the gun to be more accurate than I am, even with the stock sights shipped with the gun. Gun is CO2, so I don't have to break position between shots to cock the action. I get over 250 good shots out of a full cylinder.
I shoot the CMP NMAR matches at Camp Perry whenever I can, and have placed several times.

I would like to stay away from CO2 as most of my shooting will be outside and temperature could make my shooting even more erratic than it is.
I will be shooting it for a few years, but will likely be handing it off to my grandson, so I need quality for it to last and accuracy so I do not pitch it over the hill.
