hammerli free pistol

Post by fastcar »

Hello all
I have been shooting free pistol for a short while the last match I shot 521 with my sako 3 in 1 .
So i have decided I want to buy a hammerli 107.
Are the model numbers stamped on the side of the pistol or can it be identify by appearance .

Most 10x variants can only be identified by the serial number, or by somebody who knows all the differenz trigger configurations by heart. Eben the barrels are not perfect identifiers - usually the luxury models would have the octagonal barrel, but even that is not for sure, and not all round barrels are the same, either.

So get yourself a 150 or a 160, instead of a oldtimer without a spare parts market... ;-)
