adjusting mec trigger blade

Hi all,
does anyone have any experience adjusting the mec trigger blade? The swivel is screwed into the top most hole on the trigger shoe, but I need to put it in the middle hole. Only thing is the darn thing seems really stuck and I'm afraid of breaking it. Should this just screw out or is there a trick to it? I'm thinking it was possibly sealed with loctite.

The case is now closed. I applied some heat with a hair dryer, and managed to unscrew the swivel screw.
