Just bought an Izzy, primarily for training at home and for trying to raise my slow-fire scores above dismal in Bullseye, which is just about the only competition available locally....
What should I feed Izzy? Would like to buy a carton or sleeve of practice pellets. Also, do any of you have a link on how to maintain the pistol? Including the changing of seals? Thank you....
Pellets for Izzy?

Lots of topics out there on maintenance, this is one example:

I'm sure the same for pellets but I didn't look, the nature of air pistols means that you can feed them just about anything and they'll be more accurate than you as the shooter. I have a personal preference towards RWS branded pellets for one reason or another. Vogel (distributed by our host ~ http://www.pilkguns.com/pellets.shtml) are the only brand made in the USA if that's of any importance. The Jr shooters I coached a few years back were using the cheapest stuff available from the CMP and placing well both regionally and nationally (state champs, 5th in the nation).

I have found that RWS R-10 8.2 shoot very well in my Izzy, as does the RWS MK 8.2s. I actually bought the wrong tin when I was amassing a cross section of pellet samplings. I bought the R 10 heavy instead of the light 7.0 weight. To make a long story short; my Izzy actually preferred the heavier offering which actually saved me some time as I would probably not have even tried the heavier weighted pellets in my search/research. I then tried the RWS Meisterkugeln heavies and they print in the exact spot as the R-10s. Be sure to give the heavier ones a go when looking for what your Izzy prefers. Great gun by the way....congrats you'll have a blast:)
