Air Rifle, Advice Needed

Buying an Air Rifle for my 15 years old son. He is using Anschutz 1913 mainly, so the Air Rifle is for him to practice at home. Can't decide between Air Arms MRP and Hammerli AR20 ( only have no more than $1,000.00). Your suggestion? Thanks.

The AA MPR and Hammerli are both great 10-m air rifles, the main difference being the MPR has a wood stock and the AR-20 an allu stock.

I think the AR-20 will have better match quality trigger than the MPR, but having said that, i have seen some great scores 570+ shot with an MPR.
I guess also that the MPR is cheaper.

I think you should consider a used Anschutz 2002, you could get one for not much more than $1000, have the same exact trigger as his smallbore rifle, and still have a competitive air rifle in few years when he goes to college.
