LG300XT pellet options

Post by Vincent »

I shoot an LG300xt and have had good results with H&N Match pellets but would like to try a lighter weight pellet. Has anyone tried using JSB Schak or any lighter weight match pellets and achieved top accuracy with this model rifle. Any advise is appreciated.

We shoot 300XTs and have had great results with Vogel pellets from our host, Pilkingtons. Worked out the size and weight of pellets, and have stayed with the same for 4 years.

Do the pellet testing thing, and see.

I'll order some Vogels in 4.5mm. Thanks.

The ONLY way you can tell what will shoot well in your rifle (it doesn't matter WHAT gun it is) is by personal testing.

Buy a variety of pellets and start shooting.

My Lg300 loves RWS R10 best (I of few rifles I must say).
JSB match is always worth a try in walthers. My CG90 wont group with anything else!
But the JSB finish is always poor..

I have had a good run with H&N match but I'm looking at alternatives. I have done pellet testing before with other rifles in the past but my range time is limited. I appreciate everyone's advice.
