I use 1.3gr VV N310 with 98gr Lapua, FWB an Speer bullets. Have tested 1.1-to 1.5 gr. VV N310 and settled on 1.3gr.

I also have used 1.5gr of Winchester 231 with the same bullets.

Thanks Richard.
Do you use this bullet for both indoor and outdoor shooting? Have you tried lighter bullets also like 84 Grain?

Haendler & Naterman loading data for Walther GSP

Post by buonvento »

.313/090 greased match - COL 24.6 - case Lapua - primer WSP - N310 1.6 grains - roll crimp - 240 m/s

.314/100 HS - COL 23.4 - case Geco - primer RWS 4031 - Rottweil P801 1.4 grains - taper crimp - 216 m/s

.314/100 greased standard - COL 23.4 - primer RWS 4031 - Rottweil P801 1.3 grains - roll crimp - 219 m/s

.313/100 greased match - COL 24.6 - case Lapua - primer WSP - N310 1.7 grains - roll crimp - 231 m/s

All these reloading data (tested on Walther GSP) were on the old H&N website.

I haven't tested it, I don't have a GSP and don't know the P801. I also think that maybe 1.6 - 1.7 of N310 is a too hot load.

1.2 is all you will need.

Yes I use the same for both indoor and out. I only tried the lighter bullets a few times, at that time I really didn't notice and advantage so stuck with the 98gr (easier to find and a larger selection around here). I have loaded a little hotter for the 50 yard NRA match (1.4-1.5gr VV N310)

I used the load recommended by Don Nygord - 1.5 gr. WST and 98 gr. LHBWC.
