Unique DES/VO
The DES/VO is very similar. I had a Unique DES/VO a few years ago, which I used for Int RF when 22 short was the cartridge to use. It had blow holes on the top of the barrel just foward of the chamber to reduce muzzel jump. This is no longer allowed. It was the most reliable semi auto for 22 short I have ever used. The slide is small and light weight and recoils into a stronger spring at the rear most travel of the slide. This made a reliable gun that would shoot very light implulse 22 short cartridges without short cycling the action. The grip had an upright angle similar to a Colt model 1911a1.
When shooting the DES/VO the muzzel would jump about half the width of the front sight. Trigger pressure is about 4 to 6 ounces (150 to 200 grams) and had a single stage rolling feel to it. As long as you kept the gun clean, the functioning was flawless.
