You can buy them at ISS in Texas or if you want smaller one's Champion Shooter or Supply. We buy the larger 6.0 inserts and ISS is the only one that sells the larger sizes.
If you say so, but I really don't feel anyone should be using higher than a 4.2 with an air rifle, smallbore obviously depends on sight radius but even still the biggest I have seen used successfully with a long sight radius is only around a 4.3.
Large apertures are also needed by some of us with older eyes and large corrections. At 63, and -6.0 correction, I need all the light I can get because of the losses to my lenses in my glasses.
