It may sound a little strange but some of that ammo is 'gummy' ie it has a waxy finish. What I found was that the wax would very quickly build up at the breach. When the cartridge loads it does not fully seat and all the firing pin does is seat the cartridge.

I use CCI or Federal. They have no lubricant of any kind and I haven't had a misfire on my FAS 602 for more than a year. (and it's 30 years old).

Mine seems to function flawlessly with clean ammo and a very well lubricated magazine.

I own a new Pardini Sp new. Wax on cartridge is a problem, with CCI I must clean the barrel every 30 round, if not I have stove pipes. Now I'm using Federal and I don't clean the pistol from a month (maybe 600 - 700 rounds).
