Air Rifle equipment check

Post by Robert Distlehorst »

I am responsible for air rifle - pistol equipment check in our state "Senior Olympics."
We have a pistol box built to rule specifications.
What is/can be used for the rifle maximum length and height?
I have not found any type of a template that can be laid on a table and the rifle placed on it to determine lenght and height.
I am considering using a piece of brown wrapping paper with the dimensions outlined on it.
Suggestions, advice please!
Thanks

I am unaware of any current available template. Probably would not want one anyway because it could be made obsolete by a rule change. Drawing the max/min dimensions on a large sheet of paper will work fine. Be sure to have a metric tape or yardstick on hand.

I bought one about a year ago from the CMP store in Anniston. Try giving them a call
