If you plug in the above link there is a photo of a DES96U
The receiver has a Titanium Nitride "Gold" treatment which is an electrolizing process used in the tool/cutter industry. This process makes the surface super-hard (above 70Rc) and durable. It is said The Unique company did this in honor of their Gold medal shooting team. The magazine on the 96U is loaded from the top as opposed from under the grips. The 96U was the last model manufactured by Unique.
The DES69u is the improved model over the earlier DES69 which is still a formidable bullseye target pistol. The 69u has a bit more styling and trigger adjustability options. The magazines of the 69U and 69 are not interchangeable as far as I know.
If you Google "Unique" you will eventually come across an original website that will show all the Unique models and brief descriptions.
