One of the fun things about being in a club that’s been around a while is that some interesting stuff builds up in the historical archives. I’ve an interesting bit or two from the archives to put up on this blog but I thought I’d start with last night’s fun, the Vickers BSA Martini Jubilee.

Very nice gun, I wish I could find a BSA Martini for sale, especially a lefty.

I shot BSA in high school (1962 - 1966). Except for frequent misfires they were good rifles. I had most of the misfires and my coach said I was letting off the trigger too slowly and it was my fault. I always doubted that.
